Trevor began his career as a graduate trainee working for Nissan Motor Manufacturing in Sunderland within production control ensuring car components arrived on time and in full without holding the dreaded waste of inventory. Carlsberg UK came next where Trevor led two large distribution sites in London distributing alcoholic products throughout pubs and restaurants. This led to an extensive 14 year career at Coca Cola European Partners in a variety of roles from Operations Manager to European Project Manager to Operations Director for Sidcup, winning Cranfield Best Factory before running the biggest soft drinks factory in Europe, Wakefield, producing enough drinks to supply everyone in the UK within a week’s production! In 2018 Trevor made the switch to AGBarr to lead the Milton Keynes facility on a journey from good to great.

Alex and Trevor work at the Milton Keynes Factory which opened in 2013, has 6 production lines and produces 50% of the company’s volume.
Alex began his professional career as a manufacturing apprentice for Unilever ICF where he served for 6 years before studying for a degree in Engineering Design & Innovation at Sheffield Hallam University. 7 years of service followed working for Reckitt Benckiser, evolving from Continuous Improvement Facilitator to Shift Crew Leader and onto Production Manager at their aerosol plant in Derby and auto dishwashing plant in Ladenburg, Germany. A change of company if not scenery followed as Alex exchanged the character of Ladenburg for the hustle and bustle of Henkel’s HQ in Duesseldorf. Alex performed his duties as Produktionsleiter/Betriebsingenieur for their auto dishwashing plant until the end of 2013 when he returned to the UK (with a new, young family in tow). Alex joined AG Barr in early 2014 where he occupies his 3rd position of Continuous Improvement Manager (South).
Alex will be delivering a workshop alongside his colleague Trevor Newman. Alex and Trevor will take the audience on a journey of Clarity, Care, Capability showing how every single person within their site knows their role in achieving the aim of building the capability of the site to ensure repeatable & reliable production processes, which are capable of continually improving. They will truly show you get what you measure and when people own their performance site results are guaranteed.
